Our speaker this month will be John Dawkins. John Dawkins was announced as the Premier’s Advocate for Suicide Prevention in 2018. He was also a key member of the Premier’s Council on Suicide Prevention. In this role, John helped develop the first South Australian Suicide Prevention Plan (2017-2021) and subsequent editions. John was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award by Suicide Prevention Australia in recognition of his “sustained dedication and achievement for suicide prevention”.
